BY virtne of and in accordance with the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of Illinois, entitled An Act in relation to the payment of the priscipal and interest of the State debt." approved February 22. 1859. I. JOHN M. PALMER, Governor of the State of Illinois do hereby notify all whom IBRY concern. that on MONDAY the third day of Jasuary, 1870, at the American Exchange National Bank, in the City of New. York. the State Treasurer of Illinois will pay the bonds of the State of Illinois, hereinafter particularly designated in this proclamation; and by virtue of and in pursuance of said law.
