BRIEF CITY NEWS News From Walter Friends of Walter Goldman, who injured in truck bile collision Wednesday morning, will glad to know that he is getting along as wel las could be expected at the Greenwood Hospital. Mr. Goldman's physician said today that the injury to the head is scalp wound and his skull is not fractured. The bone in his right leg below the hip also is fractured, but that injury is not as serious as has been reported. Mrs. DeYoung was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Nesbitt Southern of Spartanburg county. She was well known and had many friends. Eurviving are the following children: H. Burnett and Pete Warren were painfully injured last night when their car in which they were returning from Lake Murray had rear-end collision with cottor: truck about two miles beyond Chappells.
