Description

The bank was suspended in September 1931 and taken over by the State Banking Department (state receivers appointed in Nov 1931). Subsequent articles describe distributions to depositors and payments under receivership; there is no indication the bank reopened, so this is a suspension followed by permanent closure/receivership.
