Dillwyn Bank Receiver Declares Two Dividends (Special to The News) Buckingham, May 26-C. H. Tucker of Charlotte county who Is receiver the Merchants and Planters Bank of Dillwyn has declared two dividends one of 30 per cent and one for per cent and now ne will offer for sale on the first day of June seven tracts or parcels of land and a great many notes and judgements, under decrees from the circuit court of Buckingham in the chancery of Merchants and Planters Bank of Dillwyn, by C. Tucker receiver, complainant V8 First National Bank of Dillwyn, B. H. Barnes. A. Sidney Spencer, W. R. Connor. Forest Guthrie, C. T. Apperson, and Charles Staten. respondents. This sale will be and but for the present financial depression these properties real and personal should yield funds, that would go long way towards paying depositors what is due them. Tucker, of Charlotte county, who receiver of the Merchants and Planters Bank of Dillwyn, has declared two dividends, one of 30 per cent and one for per cent, and will offer for sale on June seven tracts of land and great many notes and judgments, under decrees from the circuit court of Buckingham in the chancery cause of Merchants and Planters Bank of Dillwyn, B. H. Barnes, A. Spencer, W. R. Connor, Forrest Guthrie, C. Apperson and Chas. Staten, repondents. The sale will be by auction, and but for the financial depression the properties should yield funds that would go long way toward paying despositors what is due them.
