Description

The articles (1921 notices and a 1926 Salt Lake Tribune item) identify Merchants Bank of Salt Lake as a defunct corporation with a receiver (Stephen H. Lynch) and describe receiver actions (foreclosure/sale notices, petition to sell assets). No article describes a depositor run; the bank is in receivership (closed/defunct). Therefore this appears to be a suspension/closure (no run reported). Dates: receiver is referenced in July 1921 foreclosure notices; a receiver filing/petition appears in Feb 1926.
