On the 16th instant the important case of George H. Helfrich, Receiver of the Ashland Savings Bank, against J. M. Freck on rule to set aside non suit was argued before Judge Elwell by Guy E. Farqueher, Esq., of Pottsville, and Col. J. G. Freeze for the plaintiff and by J. W. Moyer, Esq., of Pottsville, with whom Geo. E. Elwell was associated, for the defendant-held under advisement.
