TEXAS BANK CLOSED Two Weeks Slow Run Fatal For F1nancial Institution AUSTIN, Tex., April b.-The Guaranty State bank, at Cleburn. Tex., with $100,000 capital stock and about $550,000 deposits, has been closed, Banking Commissioner J. D. Chapman announced tonight. A twoweeks' slow run, which reduced deposits more than $400,000, following failure of two crops in Johnson county, was responsible for the closing, Commissioner Chapman declared. The bank may reopen within a few days and depositors will be protected by the state guaranty fund, he added.
