TEN SUITS FILED. "Saturday was a record breaker in this office for business," declared Deputy Court Clerk Richardson this morning. In the morning two suits were filed and these were followed by eight in the afternoon, and a wedding." The suits which were filed early in the day were published in Saturday's issue. Those in the afternoon consisted largely of cases connected with the affairs of the Farmers and Merchants State bank at Rush Springs, filed by J. S. Barbee as receiver. These suits were styled: J. S. Barbee, receiver, vs. H. M. Evans, debt; J. S. Barbee, receiver, vs. J. F. Rus. sell and C. N. Smith, debt; J. S. Barbee, receiver, vs. C. E. Davidson and W. M. David, debt; J. S. Barbee, receiver, vs. G. T. Hignight, debt; J. S. Barbee, receiver, vs. Ed Coyle, debt; Tradesmen's State Bank vs. John Groves, recovery on notes; same vs. John Groves and Mrs. Winnie Groves, recovery on notes; Rothschild & Co. vs. J. S. White, abstract of judgment.
