Description

Newspaper items indicate Lehigh National Bank was already 'defunct' by April 23, 1926. Subsequent 1927–1928 notices refer to a receiver (P. Harris) handling foreclosure sales and suits, and later another receiver (R. H. Alexander) pursuing claims — consistent with a suspension/closure and receivership. The articles do not describe any depositor run or a reopening, nor do they state a specific cause for suspension/failure; cause therefore coded as 'other'.
