DOMESTIC. Charles C. Crosby, St. Louis merchant, fell dead on the street at New York, apparently of heart disease. He had been there for several days placing orders with wholesalers dealing in women's apparel. The Merchants' and Planters' National Bank at Ada, Okla., failed to open. A notice posted on the door said: "Closed by order of the board of directors and national bank examiner."
