Winner Has A Bank Failure. The Farmers State Bank of Winner closed its door Wednesday morning and suspended business. The state bank examiner arrived this morning and has taken charge of the institution. Just the exact condition of the affairs of the bank, we have been unable to learn, but the indications are that it is a temporary embarrassment of funds and that the depositors will be paid in full. There is some rumor afloat that the Lamro State Bank will take over the business of said bank. - Winner Advocate.

Defunct Banks Will Pay Dividends. Mitchell.-The public examiner has made application to the court for an order to pay the first dividend of 25 per cent to the creditors of the Farmers State bank at Winner, which was suspended on January 23. The examiner in charge of the bank at the present time is Robert Muckler. The application was made before Judge William Williamson, of the Eleventh district. The department of banking has just completed a second dividend to the credit of the Henderson State bank, at Wesington, which was suspended about a year ago. To date dividends amounting to 75 per cent of the deposit liability has been paid. The prospects are that this bank will pay out in full.
