State of South Carolina--Fairfield County. WHEREAS I have been notified by Hon. J. L Neagle, Comptroller General of said State, that the Planters Bank of Fairfield has foiled to make any report to his office in accordance with the requirements of the Act of the General Assembly of the said State, approved March 18th, 1869, entitled "An Act to enable the Banks of the State to renew business or to place them in liquidation." And whereas it devolves upon me as a duty under the provisions of said Act to appoint a suitable person as receiver" of said Bauk. It is therefore ordered that Saml. B. Clowney, Esq., of the State and County aforesaid, be appointed Receiver of the "Planters Bank of Fairfield," and that he do take charge of the property and assets of said Bank and forthwin proceed to comply with all the provisions of said Act, in relation to the duties of receiver. State of South Carolina---Fairfield County. HEREAS I have been notified by Hon. W J. L Neagle. Comptroller-General of said State, that the Planters Bank of Fairfield has failed to make any report to his office in accordance with the requirements of the Act of the General Assembly of the said State, approved March 13th, 1869, entitled "An Act to enable the Banks of the State to renew business or to place them in liquidation." Clowney, Esq., of the State and County aforesaid, be appointed Receiver of the "Planters Bank of Fairfield," and that he do take charge of the property and assets of said Bank and forthwith proceed to comply with all the provisions of said Act, in relation to the duties of receiver. # IN EQUITY, FAIRFIELD 1870. S. B. Clowney, Receiver, vs. Thos. J. Robertson, et. als., Creditors of the Planter's Bank of Fairfield-Bill for Injunction and Instruction ON hearing the pleadings in the above stated cause, it is ordered: 1st. That all creditors of the said Bank be enjoined from bringing or further prose-cuting actions against the said Bank or its Receiver. 2d. That all persons having claims against the said Bank, including Bank note holders, be required to present and prove their claims on or before the 22d day of December, A. D., 1870. 8d. That the Receiver, by counting and sealing in packages, or by registering amounts, letters and numbers, cause the Bnk notes that may be presented to be identified. 4th. That the Receiver proceed forthwith to colect the assets of the Bank, by suit where advisable: and that for that purpose he is authorized to employ proper attorneys. 5th. That the Receiver be authorized to sell at public auction for cash, all the per-sonal property (other than those in action) belonging to said Bank at such time and place as he may deem advantageous, giving such public notice by public advertisement as rs required by law for administrator's sales, Gib. That the Receiver be authorized to sell at such place and such time after the 1st of January, A. D. 1871, as he may deem expedient all the choses in action that he may by that time have ascertained to be doubtful or worthless, said sale to be in pursuance of the Act of the General Assembly approved 14th of January, A. D. 1870, entitled "An Act to authorize admin-istrator's executor's and other fiduciares to sell evidences of indebtedness. 7th. That at such time as the Receiver may designate, after the 1st of January, A. D 1871, he may declare and pay out dividends upon such claims as may have been duly established from the net proceeds of of sales and collections it his hands after payment of expenses and retaining to him-self five per centum on all money's receiv-ed and two and one half per centum on all money's disbursed by him. 8th. That this order be published once a month in the Fairfeld Herald during the present year, and one time in the Colutabia Guardian and one time in the Charleston Republican, J. M. RUTLAND. apl 12-xlamly
