M. BERARDINI STATE BANK CLOSES DOORS NEW YORK, Oct. 31 (By A.P.)The M. Berardini State Bank, whose clients included mostly Italian residents and small shop keepers, was closed today. It had $1,100,000 deposits. Joseph A. Broderick. state banking superintendent. said the action was due to non-liquid condition and depreciation of assets. Charles Murray. clate bank examiner, was appointed special deputy bank superintendent to aid in the bank's liquidation.
