A DEFAULTING CASHIER Skips Out With $46,000 Special to the Star. TIFFIN, O., April 23.-0. Zemer, the cashier of the Exchange National Bank, of this city, is missing since yesterday morning, and with him $46,000 in money belonging to the above institution. As he did not appear at his post in the evening, and as he has been living in an extravagant manner lately, suspicion was aroused that everything was not correct. An investigation was made, lasting all night, when it was found that $46,000 were missing. The bank at once.suspended business, but as yet has not declared itself insolvent. The excitement is immense, and a large crowd has surrounded the bank building. It is said that Zemer has gone to Cincinnati. A reward has been offered for his arrest.
