The Newark bank has paid all demands of depositors during the run on it. The Dime Bank required three months' notice. The representatives of the coal companies appointed a committee to prepare a compact. Judge Packer refused to join. There were a few arrests to-day for excise law violations. The liquor dealers requested the Mayor to relieve the officials responsible for the arrests, NEW YORK, Dec. 14.-The anti-Custom-house general committee held a somewhat stormy meeting, It is now thought that Hildreth and Tighe embezzled $100.000.
