SHOWERS ACCEPTS CASHIER POSITION Citizens Bank Receiver on Staff of Reopened Bank In Branchville John K. Showers severed all connections this morning with the Citizens National Bank to accept a position as cashier of the Branchville National Bank of Branchville in Sussex county, which has been in the hands of a conservator since the bank holiday last March. Mr. Showers was appointed receiver of the Citizens Bank last February when the bank failed to reopen for business. He continued until about three months ago, when he was replaced by John A. Lynch, who resigned after holding the position for about six weeks. Lynch was replaced by Eugene Viereck of Eatontown, formerly of New Brunswick." The Branchville bank has been reorganized and is ready to do business. It was known as the First National Bank of Branchville when it went into the hands of a conservator. It will reopen for unrestricted business under the name of the Branchville National Bank.
