Department Takes Over Exchange Bank Receivers from the State Department of Banking came to Wilcox Saturday and took charge of the Exchange Bank. The bank was restricted following the holiday last March and has been doing business on a one hundred per cent basis only a few weeks. Following so closely on the reopening, the action of the department came as a complete surprise. The officers of the institution have the full confidence of the depositors, but any further action regarding the bank's affairs will be taken by department officials.
