Nebraska Benefits Half Million In Tax Refunds Omaha, Dec. 27 kans benefitted by more than half a million dollars in tax refunds announced by the treasury department at Washington today. The Osler C. Thompson estate at Spalding was the largest beneficiary, receiving a refund of $104,301. Other refunds included: William A. Wolfe estate, at Beatrice, $18,827; Mrs. Arthur D. Brandeis, Omaha, $64,219: Fairmont Creamery company, $61,928: Omaha and Council Bluffs Street Railway company, $41,111 Union Stock Yards, $11,dent of the recently failed Peters Trust company, 707, and Joseph L. Barker, Omaha, $10,891.

Former officers of the Peters Trust company have formed a new concern to deal in investment curities to be incorporated as the Peters company an authorized capital stock of 100 thousand Officers of the new company are: R. C. Peters, president M D. Cam eron, vice-president and treasurer Richard B. Peters, secretary, and J O. Wentworth, loan supervisor. R B. Peters is the son of R. C. Peters The company will deal mostly in mortgage loans on farm and city property and will handle municipal bonds and other securities.
