Will Load Relief Car Feb'y 10 Cooperation Asked In Drive For Relief Every assistant bank receiver has been requested by the secretary of the state to assume the responsibility for a drive to collect at least one car of relief supplies to be distributed among the needy of the drougth suffering counties of north Nebraska. Being the assistant receiver of the City Bank, will ask the good will of the péople of this community to co-operate with me and have a car ready for shipment by February 10. E. H. MACK, Phone 55. John Shannon has been busy this week and states that but one man has approached him with an offer of feed for relief, following the announcement in the Beacon last week. John wants something done and will help all he can, but can hardly spare the time now for solicitation. E. D. Morrison has offered the facitities of the elevator for handling grain, and will sell grain to anyone wishing to donate in this way. Both have offered their assistance to Mr. Mack.
