Minot Lumberman Indulges in Rhyme E. E. Emmerson, well known Minot lumberman, sat down one evening and wrote a little jingo about the war. He went south on business, Mrs. Emmerson ran across the copy and handed it to the Independent. Mr. Emmerson will probably be real angry when he finds it in print, but he's SJ far away that it won't do him any particular good. Here it is: The war in France is over, The boys are coming home. Each message from across the sea Takes on a brighter tone. Our President went "over there" To help those Allied Peers Dish up a dose for Kaiser Bill That will hold the "Hun" for years.
