CRYSTAL SPRINGS BANK CLOSES Bismarck, Jan. 7.-The state banking board. last night appointed H. B. Hanson of Steele receiver for the First State Bank of Crystal Springs, which closed its doors yesterday. An alleged shortage in the bank's account is reported to 1 be $28,000.

Kellogg, formerly of New Salem, recently of Fargo, are: People's State Bank of Leith, Farmers and Merchants Bank of Robinson, Citizens State Bank of Hazen, First State of Crystal Springs, Timmer State Bank of Timmer. Kellogg was named receiver for the Bismarck district and will have headquarters in this city.
