If Oswego Mrs. Larry Hovey and Mrs. Martin Lien of Frazer were Oswego visitors last week. Commissioner Reed and Surveyor Bailey of Glasgow were in Oswego looking over the road situation, and it looks at present as though we are going to get better roads in this end of the county. Harry Lee Warren of Baltimore arrived here Thursday for à visit with his uncle, Lee Warren, of the Southside. Young Warren is a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy of Annapolis and was one of the outstanding players of the Navy football team of 1926. Warren played center for this famous team in the game Navy vs. Army at Chicago before 110,000 people, which was one of the largest crowds ever to witness a football game. Ernest McIntyre was a Circle visitor last week. Martin Johnson purchased a new Fordson from the Wolf Point Motor Sales Co. Mrs. George Conklin of the Southside was in Wolf Point a couple of days last week, having some dental work done. Mrs. Henry Kolstad visited with her sister at Culbertson Friday until Monday. Miss Mildred Halbert attended the teachers' examinations at Glasgow Friday and Saturday. John Munz purchased a new Ford touring car last week from the Wolf Point Motor Sales Co. A. J. Kiefer, district agent for the A. O. U. W. lodge was in town Tuesday on business. H. Rockstead. representing the Monarch Lumber Co., of Great Falls was in town on business Tuesday of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Warren were Wolf Point visitors on Thursday of last week. Mrs. Roy Stover visited the the T. W. Stover family the latter part of last week. H. A. Streeter, receiver for the First National Bank. was in town on Friday of last week. Rex Nichols of the north country was in town for supplies between showers Saturday. More moisture has fallen the latter part of last week and the first part of this week in this district than there has for a good many years at this time of the year, as there was very little that did not stay where it fell. The A. O. U. W. lodge are giving another dance Friday, May 14th, in their new hall, music will be furnished by the Storm five piece orchestra. Every one is invited and a good time will be had.
