WHAT EDWARD L. TERRY MISSED. Would Have Been Appointed Receiver of Helena Bank. Special Dispatch to the Post-Intelligencer. WASHINGTON Dec. 3.-When Comptroller Eckels came to make his appointment for the receivership of the Helena National bank. to which Eugene Wilson, of Ellensburg, was named. he sent a message to Bank Examiner Seeley, who was then in Seattle, to send Edward L. Terry Terry had been urged for some time by Seattle friends for a position as bank examiner. The reply was returned that Terry was in Alaska and could not be reached. Thus he lost what may be nearly a five years' job, at about $3,000 to $5,000 a year.
