# THE BISMARC (60%) of the legal and qualified electors of Ecklund Township have filed a petition with this Board, asking that free range be discontinued and that stock be not permitted to run at large; Therefore, Be It Resolved, that the prayers of the petitioners be granted and that Ecklund Township be closed. On roll call Commissioner Soder voted Aye: Moynier, Aye; Backman, Aye: Swanson, No. Moved by Commissioner Backman and seconded by Commissioner Soder that the County Auditor be and hereby is authorized to sign crop contracts for the year 1927 on lands held by Burleigh County, for one-fourth interest in the crop, such crop contracts subject to sale of lands to be held on the second Tuesday in June, as provided by law, no contract to be signed for lands not already broken. On roll call Commissioners Moynier, Backman, Soder and Swanson voted Aye. Moved by Commissioner Soder and seconded by Commissioner Backman, that the County Treasurer be and hereby is authorized to sign the endorsement on surety bond No. 31907, issued by the Dakota Trust Company, Fargo, to cover County deposit in the Capital Security Bank, now taken over by the First Guaranty Bank of Bismarck. On, roll call all Commissioners present voted Aye. Moved by Commissioner Soder and seconded by Commissioner Backman that county road bids opened December 7th, as per per advertisement, be rejected.
