Checks Amounting Approximately $5,000 Represent Third 7% Payment Withers, of Polo, receiver for the defunct Farmers Bank mailing checks today which third 7% dividend paid by that stitution since closed. This ment amounts to approximately $5,000. The checks being sent today bring the total of funds paid to the to $115,and about $7,000 in preferred claims were paid before the dends were ordered. In all, the bank has paid in the neighborhood of $23,000 since closed. Mr. Withers also receiver for the closed Polo Trust Company, paid 10% dividend to positors of that institution, Friday. amounted to more than $12,000, and the third payment to made from that bank. It has paid approximately $36,000. NEW COMMITTEEMAN Amick, of been appointed member the county relief and reemployment committee. He met with the Monday. John Miller, who has been member the committee since organized, has tendered his resignation.
