RE-OPENED FOR BUSINESS After a two day state wide holiday declared by Governor Park of Missouri, and over a week national holiday proclaimed by President Roosevelt, we have passed the examination required by the President for sound banks, and have been authorized to re-open again without restrictions. We are glad indeed that we have been found to be one of the sound banks of Missouri, and that we can meet our friends and customers and transact business as usual. We have striven to run just such a bank as would be safe for our customers to do business with, and now that we have stood the test, we wish to thank each one of our customers and friends for the splendid loyalty and co-operation they have given us, and solicit your continued support and patronage. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ramsey of Urbana visited Sunday with his mother, Mrs. Dollie Ramsey, west of Buffalo. Mrs. Marion Eslinger, daughter Ossie, and Mrs. Fred Morrow were among visitors to Springfield Wednesday of last week. Byron Callaway, student in S. W. T. Coilege, Springfield, spent the week end in Buffalo visiting his mother, Mrs. Alice Callaway.
