Tomb Named Bank Receiver

Milford Tomb of Indiana received from the Comptroller of Currency, to take over the remaining assets the First National Bank and act as ceiver in This five banks for which Mr. Tomb The Citizens National Bank, Indiana; the Clymer National Bank, Clymer; Glen CampNational Bank, Glen Campbell; and National Bank of Mahaffey. Mr. Tomb has not received word as where will handle the affairs of the Indibank. He stated this morning that he had begun take over the assets the bank and that would require about two weeks time. This arrangement nothing with the new First National Bank in Indiana. Because the fact that the bank bought old building. probable that Mr. Tomb will have the affairs taken care some other banking room.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Barnett returned home Thursday after a week's sight-seeing at the World's Fair. Bill McCoy and Alf Stile spent the past two weeks in Oil City. While away they took in the Oil Jubilee in Titusville and the Clarion Fair. They returned to Indiana by the way of "hitch-hiking."

Miss Betty Cole and the Misses Jane Butterworth, Mary Yahnke, Ruth Kridler, Edith Christie and Ethel Campbell of Clymer, have returned home after a week's vacation at a cottage at Campbell's Mills.

Miss Eleanor Lewis of Jamestown N. Y., has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Lewis of Eleventh street. Miss Lewis, who has been doing dietetic work in New York state for the past two years, left Monday for Grove City where she will teach home economics in the Grove City high school.

Honored with election to the National Council, Miss Mary St. Clair King, of Indiana, is home from Cleveland, where she attended the convention of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. Miss King was elected national organizer. The delegate from Delta chapter of Indiana was Miss Betty Weaver of Ford City. Mrs. Robert Fisher of North Sixth street, has returned to her home after visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Washburn, in California.

During Mrs. Fisher's absence Mrs. Tattnal Brown of Haverford, Mr. Fisher's sister, came to Indiana and took charge of the Fisher children.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ferguson and daughter Edna and Miss Dorothy Ferguson, of Akron, O., who have been touring in the east, stopped in Indiana over Labor Day to visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ferguson, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace R. Myers of town accompanied them on their trip.

Forestry Meeting at J. R. Marsh Farm, Penn View, Friday Morning

A forestry meeting will be held at the farm of J. R. Marsh, one-half mile east of Penn View on the William Penn highway in West Wheatfield township, on Friday morning at 9:00 o'clock. Frank T. Murphey, extension forestry specialist at Penn State, will give a demonstration on woodlot improvement, cuttings and demonstrations. He will also discuss re-foresting methods and other phases of farm woodlot management.

Sunday Train To Be Discontinued

Sunday trains on the Indiana branch of the Pennsylvania railroad will be discontinued on next Sunday with the institution of daylight saving time. The two trains daily, except Sunday, will be continued when the new schedule goes into effect on next Sunday. With the discontinuance of the Sunday trains the last mail to be dispatched from Indiana during the new set-up will be Saturday evening.

The following described real estate, to-wit: All the right, title, interest and claim of the defendant, V. S. Wolfe, of, in and to all that certain piece, parcel or lot of ground situate in the Village of Taylorsville, in the Township of Green, County of Indiana and State of Pennsylvania, being known and numbered in the Plot or Plan of lots of J. B. Siverd as Lot No. 5, being bounded and described as follows, to-wit:

Beginning at the northwestern corner of said lot at a post in public road at northeastern corner of lot of Richard Buddle; thence along the said public road south 70 1-2 degrees west 18 3-10 perches to post at northeastern corner of lot of William Harkins; thence by said lot of William Harkins south 20 1-4 degrees east 21 7-10 perches to lands of Mrs. C. F. Goodlin; thence by said land of Mrs. C. F. Goodlin north 47 degrees east 18 3-10 perches to a post; thence by land of Richard Buddle north 20 1-4 degrees west 35 perches to a post, the place of beginning, containing two acres and 65 perches and having thereon erected a one and one-half story frame dwelling house and other out-buildings.

Excepting and reserving all the coal of whatever kind (except the top seam of coal which is near the surface) lying or being in or upon said tract of land, together with mining rights, etc., excepted and reserved in deed of J. B. Siverd et ux., to Robert St. Clair. The top seam of coal which is near the surface passes to the purchaser at this sale.

Also the free and uninterrupted right to use a road or alley fourteen feet wide now on the above described tract of land.

Being the same lot of ground conveyed to V. S. Wolfe and Forrest V. Wolfe, her husband, by deed of Clymer National Bank, Receiver, dated May 25, 1931, and recorded in Deed Book No. 259, Page 491, and deed of Robert St. Clair et ux., dated June 4, 1931 and recorded in Deed Book No. 259 Page 490, the said Forrest V. Wolfe having since died.

KLINGENSMITH of, in and to all that certain lot or piece of ground situated in Pine Township, County of Indiana, Pa., beginning at a stone corner on line of land of Peter Monahan, thence north 44 degrees west 108 perches to stones along lands now or late of Andrew Adams, thence along line of lands of Henry Gilden, north 46 degrees east 37.6 perches to stones, thence along line of said lands north 44 degrees west 56 perches to stones, thence north 46 degrees east 24 perches to stones, thence along lands of John Lemon's heirs, south 44 degrees east 164 perches to stones, thence south 46 degrees west 61.6 perches to the place of beginning, containing in all about 50 acres more or less.
