Forestry Meeting at J. R. Marsh Farm, Penn View, Friday Morning
A forestry meeting will be held at the farm of J. R. Marsh, one-half mile east of Penn View on the William Penn highway in West Wheatfield township, on Friday morning at 9:00 o'clock. Frank T. Murphey, extension forestry specialist at Penn State, will give a demonstration on woodlot improvement, cuttings and demonstrations. He will also discuss re-foresting methods and other phases of farm woodlot management.
Sunday Train To Be Discontinued
Sunday trains on the Indiana branch of the Pennsylvania railroad will be discontinued on next Sunday with the institution of daylight saving time. The two trains daily, except Sunday, will be continued when the new schedule goes into effect on next Sunday. With the discontinuance of the Sunday trains the last mail to be dispatched from Indiana during the new set-up will be Saturday evening.
