FAILED TO RAISE BONDS. Edmiston, the Bank Wrecker, Still in Custody of the Sheriff. WALLA Walla, Jan. 5.-J. K. Edmiston has not yet made any effort to procure bonds for his release and is still in the custody of the sheriff. One of the recent employes of the Seattle Savings Bank of Seattle says that Mr. Edmiston's presence in Idaho is easily accounted for. The land examiner for the bank, John L Austin, was at Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Mr. Edmiston was evidently going there to confer with him in regard to securities. He stated that it was only a question of time when the Seattle bank would pay dollar for dollar, as the receiver's report showed an excess of $87,000 assets above liabilities, a
