HARBOR TAKES BANK FAILURE WITH CALM ABERDEEN. Feb. 9.-The closing of the Hayes and Hayes bank is being accepted phildsophically by Aberdeen. Business continued today as usual and long lines of depositors stood at both the Grays Harbor National and the First National banks to place money in those institutions. There have been no withdrawals of deposits worthy of consideration. Ratio of deposits has increased from two to three to one, as compared with withdrawals. Mrs. W. Patterson, president of the failed bank, located in California yesterday, is now on her way to Aberdeen, and is expected to arrive at her home here in a few days. No large industry aside from the Independence Logging company and its subsidiaries has been affected by the bank supension. The reogganization committee named Sunday has had several meetings, but has adopted no line of action as yet. Governor Hartley and State DI. rector of Efficiency Gardner visited here last night to offer State Bank Ing Supervisor H. Johnson and the community any possible assistance of the state
