The Missouri City Savings bank closed its doors last Saturday. The stockholders met Tuesday and agreed upon a plan for adjusting the financial difficulties of the bank. The stock holders will all unite in notes to their creditors running one ear at 6 per cent. interest. Captain Hayes in the meantime will collect up the assets as speedily as possible and apply them on the indebtedness. As the stockholders are gentlemen of high character and sound financially the arrangement has given general satisfaction in the community. The liabililities are about $30,000; assets not yet known.
