Angeles was filed in the county clerk office this morning. A copy of the articles of incorporation of the Farmers Produce company, Ltd., Los Angeles, was filed this morning. This company, with headquarters in Los Angeles, is concerned with the planting, packing and shipping of fruits and vegetables. An answer was filed in superior court by the Security Trust and Savings Bank of San Diego, defendants. against the complaint of W. T. Fugate, plaintiff, denying that said plaintiff offered to find n purchaser for certain lands in Imperial County. Marie E. Adams, defendant in a divorce action brought by W. G. Adams, filed a petition in superior court this morning, asking that when judgment is entered in the above suit, her maiden name, Marie Elizabeth Farley, be restored to her. Judge Thompson signed an order confirming the sale of tracts 43 and 44, Twp. 16 S, R. 16 E, S. B. M., Imperial county, by J. C. Graham, administrator of the estate of H. M. Rankin, deceased. Leah B. Peterson, plaintiff in a divorce action against Guy Peterson, filed an answer this morning to a cross complaint of the defendant, denying allegations made in the complaint and asking judgment against the defendant. A notice of a hearing to be held on January 24, at 10 a. m., on the receiver's third report filed in the case of Donald Dool, et al., plaintiffs, versus the First National Bank of Calexico, defendants, has been filed in the county clerk's office. A copy of the agreement effecting the merger of the Texas company; the California Gasoline company; the Gato Ridge Oil company the Oak Ridge Oil company; the Santa Paula Oil company, and the Red Star Petroleum company, on December 9, 1929, has also filed. An order granting H. M. Haskell permission to file an amended and supplemental complaint in his action against A. Moroni, et al., was signed by Judge Thompson yesterday af ternoon. The appointment of Mrs. A. S. Carr by Judge A. C. Finney to act as a member of the probation committee of Imperial county for the term of 4 years beginning January 1, 1930, has just been filed in the office of the county clerk. Two separate complaints have Leen presented to superior court by L. S. Blenkiron and Chas. F. Nowlin, doing business as the Hansen Dairy company, to secure payment of two promissory notes made payable to the plaintiffs, signed August 30 and August 31, 1928. Defendants named in the complaints are: R. S. Stuart, et al., and R. E. Chormicle, et al. George McKillen, one of the defendants in an action brought by J. A. and Eleanor Wiley, filed his separate demurrer in superior court yesterday against the complaint of plaintiffs, alleging that said complaint does not state facts sufficient to constitue a cause of acion. The appointment of C. S. Wise as deputy sheriff was placed on file in the county clerk's office this morning.

Doings About Court House Judge L. D. Jennings granted a final decree of divorce to Gladys M. Herod against Alva R. Herod on the grounds of extreme cruelty and willful neglect. An order was signed by Judge Thompson approving the third report of Ray Edgar as receiver in the cause between Donald Dool, et al., plaintiffs, and the First National Bank of Calexico, defendants. The decree of dissolutions of the Cross Drug company of Calexico was signed by Judge Thompson in superior court yesterday. The board of directors of the corporation were appointed trustees for the purpose of setttling all the affairs of the organization. Robert J. McNamara was appointed a special deputy sherif by C. L. Gillett. His appointment was filed in the county clerk's office yesterday afternoon. The county clerk's office received a copy of an agreement of consolidation and the articles of incorporation of the American States Water Service company of California, incorporated on December 31, 1929, at Los Angeles. W. C. Isett filed his report as administrator of the estate of Samuel M. Isett, deceased, in superior court yesterday. D. C. Bitler and Dorsey Whitelaw, attorneys for the Consolidated Water company of Pomona, filed a notice in superior court yesterday that on February 7, a motion will be made to reopen the trial of the cause between their clients and F. H. Smith, executor of the estate of Anita Calhoun, deceased, et al., on the grounds of additional evidence to be presented to the court. Judge Thompson signed an order confirming the sales of personal property made by S. P. Williams, public administrator of the estate of S. H. D. Leung, also known as Soo Hoo Sam Don. A marriage license was issued this morning to Enrique Ordoz, 30, and Herminia Ordoz, 23, both of Westmorland. Francisco Paradez made application for probation in superior court tihs morning and his plea was turned over to the probation officer by Judge Thompson. Dr. H. V. Gray, county health of. ficer, appointed C. F. Eckert of Brawley, deputy. A demurrer was filed by E. E. Forrester against the complaint of C. G. Seamans and A. J. Lasby, alleging that the complaint does not state facts sufficient to constitute a cause of action. Jack Houser filed a complaint to quiet title to blocks 5 and 6 of Imperial sub-division No. 1, in the city of Imperial, against Grant Williams, et al. D. R. and Mildred Saunders filed their demurrer to the complaint of J. Doings About Court House Marriage licenses were issued vesterday to Frederico Esquivel, 22. and Carmen Areinega, 19, both of Calexico: to Jose Ramos, 40, and Antonia Rameriz, 38, both of Seeley; to Ezequiel Almarez , 33, and Dolores Fernandez, 34, both of Westmorland: to F. G. Lernia, 37. and Dolores Mendez, 32, both of El Centro: and to J. A. Kirkpatriek, 38. and Oda Talley, 27, both of Heber. R. B. Whitelaw, attorney for Hyman an in court of superior Lirschner, for filed the dismissal order his action against Sam Coleman, said lease in question being hereby cancelled. g The El Camino Oil company has filed complaint against Glen Wire. alleging that on December 31, 1929. lubricating oil to the value of $611.70 was delivered to the defendant and that to the present but $150 of this sum has been paid. It asks judgment for the sum of $461.70, with interest. Judge Thompson gave judgment in the case of Clyde R. Burr, receiver of and for the First National Bank of Calexico, versus W. R. Doings About Court House Frank Birkhauser, attorney for Frank B. Taesler, plaintiff, in the a notice action al., filed against Percy of C. intention Thacker, to et move for a new trial on the grounds of the insufficiency of the evidence; that the decesion is against law, and also that an error in law occurred at the trial and was excepted to by the plaintiff. An order was signed by Judge Minney for the sale of the S 1/2 of the W 1/2 of the E1/2 of tract 156, T17S, RR 15 and 16 E, S.B.M., Imperial county, to W. C. Metcalf and R. H. Metcalf for $2400, by Clyde R. Burr, receiver of and for the First National Bank of Calexico. Judge Finney signed a judgment according to which the California Cotton Credit Corporation is to recover $666.33 and costs from Perry Copple and R. M. Chapman, together with costs. I. H. and O. N. Shaw filed their answer to the complaint of Helen H. Phillips in which it is alleged that the said sheep belonging to the defendants were beyond the control of said defendants while on the premises and were in the possession of a certain Singh at all times while on these premises and that the dendants were never in the posses sion of the premises described in plaintiff's complaint at any time. A marriage license was issued this morning to Walter W. Cagle, 52, and Ruth Wilson, 31, both of Phoenix. Rosa I. Daniel filed her complaint for divorce against Joseph C. Beek. The couple married in Tijuana, Lower California, October 7, 1928, and separated the same day. The complaint alleges that while on a trip to the Mexican city a proposal of marriage was made by the defendant and accepted by the plaintiff and that both participated in a purported ceremony of mar. riage, also that the defendant deserted the plaintiff on that same day. The plaintiff believes that such purported marriage is null and void and asks that the court degree that the plaintiff is free from the bonds of matrimony. Marguerite P. Monroe filed a complaint against Harold D. Monroe asking for a divorce; custody of a minor child; $30 per month for the support of this child; counsel fees and costs of the action. They were married in Yuma, December 30, 1925 and separated in September, 1929. Charging Luther Weaver with failure to provide, Sue Weaver filed her complaint for divorce this morning. The couple married in Grady county, Oklahoma, April 14, 1915, and separated on July 20, 1926.

Doings About Court House A complaint was filed vesterday by Hortensia Gonzales against Filemon Gonzales in which the plaintift asks the annulment of their marriage. She states that she is now a minor, 16 years of age, and at the time of her marriage she was but 15 years and 30 days old, under the age of legal consent. It is further alleged that the plaintiff's mother unlawfully and on account of inadvertance and mistake gave her consent in writing for the marriage of said minor child to the defendant.' They married in El Centro, July 31, 1929, and separated in September of the same year. Judge Finney granted a final decree of divorce to Ruth A. Anderson from William P. Anderson on the grounds of willful neglect. The interlocutory decree had been issued on April 23, 1929. The plaintiff was awarded the custody of two minor children and $60 per month for their support. Dolores Valdez filed her complaint against Francisco Valdez, charging him with having abandoned her. They were married in Lowell, Arizona, February 24, 1913, and separated July 16, 1924. An order was signed by Judge Finney that Clyde R. Burr, receiver of and for the First National Bank of Calexico, is authorized to accept a deed from George W. Hunich to lots 2, 3, and 4 in section 2, T17S, R16E, S.B.M., and to sell this property at public or private sale for the best price obtainable. Olive Moser filed a complaint against L. E. Gillett for the collect tion of a note dated August 10, 1925, Lynwood, California, in the sum of $246.93. --A complaint of Louie Schreiner against Jose Mendoza asks $2050 for damages alleged to have been caused to his truck, three miles south of El Centro, when the plaintiff's truck was struck by the ear of the defendant coming at an excessive rate of speed and in the center of the road, on July 25, 1929. Joseph Carity filed his complaint against Ryoichi Uyeno, et al., asking for $3150 damages for failure on the part of the defendant to live up to an agreement of lease made between them regarding the use of the NEW of the NE14 and the E1/2 of the NW14 of the NEW of tract 185 1/2, T13S, RR 13 and 14 E.-S. B. M., Imperial county, containing about 60 aeres.
