Description

Multiple trustee's-sale notices state the Planters Bank of Clarksdale was in liquidation and that the indebtedness was assigned on July 24, 1922 to Mrs. Florence Holland. No newspaper text describes a depositor run; instead the bank appears to be in liquidation (permanent closure). I infer 'state' bank from the name 'Planters Bank of Clarksdale, Miss.'
