A RUN ON THE SACRAMENTO BANK. Sacramento, Cal., Dec. 11.-A rumor was started. to-day that the Sacramento Bank was in a shaky condition and a run was made on it by a large number of depositors. The managers of the bank were ready for them and promptly paid all demands. The bank now has on hand 4050,000 in gold, besides money in other banks, swelling the available assets is UASO,000.

SPARKS FROM THE WIRES. La Grippe is epidemic in Denver. The physicians assert that no less than 250 cases are now being treated. James Johnson. colored, hanged yesterday at Elizabeth, N.C., for the rape and murder of a colored girl aged 10. A rumor was started yesterday that the Sacramento bank of Sacramento, Cal., was in a "shaky" condition, and a heavy run was made by a large number of the depositors.
