Suit Against Directors Of Defunct Bank To Be Heard In Cruces Friday
A suit brought by receivers of the defunct State Bank of Alamogordo, against two directors, Frank Rolland and H. H. Stevenson, will be heard before Judge Numa C. Frenger in Las Cruces, Friday.
The receivers, represented by E. K. Neumann, state attorney general and Martin Threet, district attorney seek to recover some $20,000 to $30,000 from the directors, this amount being represented in unpaid notes in the defunct bank's assets, which it is alleged, were improperly secured.
Messrs. Rolland and Stevenson are being represented by former Judge Edwin C. Mechem, of Las Cruces.
