Description

Articles report the Bank of Senath closed in November 1930 and a receiver (John A. McAnally) was appointed Nov. 26, 1930. There is no specific description of a depositor run on the Bank of Senath in the provided clippings; regional runs and failures of nearby banks are mentioned as contributing to banking distress, so I classify the cause as contagion from other local/regional bank failures.
