NOTICE OF AGREEMENT OF SALE BY THE CENTRAL SAVINGS BANK OF LODI, OF THE BUSINESS AND ASSETS OF SAID BANK TO LIBERTY BANK, PURSUANT TO SECTION 31 OF THE CALIFORNIA BANK ACT. Notice Is Hereby Given That. on or about the 19th day of September. 1925, an agreement was made and entered into, pursuant to the provisions of Section 31 of the California Bank Act, by and between the Central Savings Bank of Lodi, a corporation duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, having its principal place of business in Lodi, County of San Joaquin, said State, and the Liberty Bank, a corporation duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Callfornia, having its Head Office at the corner of Market, Mason and Turk streets, in the City and County of San Francisco, said State. wherein and whereby said Central Savings Bank of Lodi agreed to sell and said Liberty Bank agreed to purchase the business and assets of said bank as of the close of business on the 19th day of September, 1925, for and in consideration. among other things, of the assumption by said Liberty Bank of the payment in full on demand, of all claims of and liabilities to the depositors of said Central Savings Bank of Lodi; and it was further understood and agreed that any and all transfers of deposits of said Central Savings Bank of Lodi to said Liberty Bank are and shall be subject to the right of every depositor of said selling bank to withdraw his deposit in full. on demand, after such transfer, irrespective of the terms under which said deposit may have been made with said selling bank; and Notice is hereby further given that said agreement was approved by the Superintendent of Banks on the 19th day of September, 1925; that the sale and transfer aforesaid was thereafter consummated on said date last mentioned. and that, pursuant to a permit duly issued by said Superintendent of Banks, said Liberty Bank, on September 19th. 1925. established. and is now operating. a branch office in the premises heretofore occupied by said Central Savings Bank of Lodi, in said town of Lodi, San Joaquin County, California.
