SPARKS FROM MAINE WIRES. A slight, and., as the bank officers say, entirely causeless, run on the Westbrook Trust Co. began, Friday, and there were some withdrawals, Saturday. Treas. William M. Lamb said that the institution is perfectly sound. that the run was the result of an unfounded rumor and that he is ready to pay all depositors in full. Benjamin Kimball, who was shot at Bridgton, two weeks ago, is slowly gaining and unless complications set in it is believed that he will recover. Shortly after being shot he began to improve, but this was followed by a sinking spell from which he is now rallying. Henry Douglass, who shot him. will be arraigned before Judge Hill at Portland, Monday morning. If Kimball remains in the same condition it is probable that he will be arraigned on a charge of assault with intent to kill, er the case may be again continued to await the result of Kimball's injuries.
