BANK RECEIVER NAMED AUSTIN, May 31. (P)-Application of James Shaw, state banking commissioner for receivership for the Security Trust Company of Austin was granted by Judge W. F. Robertson of Travis County District Court today. James V. Allred, attorney general, filed the application for Shaw. Judge Robertson named H. Grady Chandler, former assistant attorney general, receiver for the company Action was taken. the attorney general, said, to protect interests of the depositors. Shaw said he believed "that if the bank's affairs were wound up in an orderly fashion, the interests of all depositors would be fully protected.' Chandler was required to give a bond of $25,000.

Chandler Grady Replaced as Bank Receiver Dist. Judge F. Robertson announced Saturday afternoon that Judge C. F. Gibson, Austin attorney, had been appointed receiver of the Security Trust company, to replace Grady Chandler, appointed several days ago following the filing of petition for receiver by Atty. Gen. James Allred. Judge Robertson said Chandler was disqualified to serve because he was a creditor of the bank.
