Special To The STRAWBERRY PLAINS. Jan. 25. Bank of Strawberry Plains did not open for business today. This notice posted was on the door at 2 p. m. Tuesday: "Due to unsettled conditions in the banking industry directors have decided to close and liquidate." The bank had capital of $10,000, deposits of and assets of $81,000. A. C.
