TELEGRAPHIC JOTTINGS. The Waupaca, (Wis.) bank, run by E. Coolidge & Co., made an assignment yesterday morning. Assets and liabilities not known. Emil Schultzr & Co., agents for wine houses doing business at No. 36 Beaver street, New York, made an assignment yesterday. The liabilities are estimated at $75,000. The assets are not known. The house has been in existence thirtyseven years.

Bank Failure at Waupaea. Even Coolidge, proprietor of the Waupaca Bank at Waupaca, made a voluntary assignment the other day to Frank Whipple, of that city, for the benefit of his creditors. The assets are $37,000, with liabilities of $27,000. The cause of the failure is a too heavy line of loans and discounts, together with a recent run on the bank, which had drawn out over $25,000 in currency. The general belief is that all liabilities will be paid in full.
