Description

Article (1933-10-06) lists Citizens National Bank of Pocomoke City among national banks whose reorganization plans were approved by the Treasury and which could be licensed to reopen (indicating a prior suspension during the 1933 bank holiday and conservatorship). No explicit run is mentioned. Later (1936) legal notices show trustees disposing of pledged policies for the benefit of unsecured depositors, suggesting subsequent asset dispositions/liquidation activity, but the 1933 article supports an approved reorganization and reopening license.
