Circuit Court. The regular February term of the Jefterson Circuit Court began on Tuesday last, Judge E. Boyd Faulkner presiding. The following gentlemen composed the grand jury Willirm Beall, foreman ; Mack Myers, George Hooff, David Phillips, Robert L. Withers. J. W. Zinn, William Wilt, T, Lee Shirley, J. H. Ramey, John Blue, C. J. Cavalier, R. V. Moler, Jacob S. Moler, H. Taylor Link, Tobias Hendricks, J. Wm. Taylor, The grand jury returned the following indictments: Philip Herbert, petit larceny; indicted for stealing one turkey, value dollar, from Thomas Bradford second offense. Letha McGolrick, felony indicted for the murder of her child on Dec. 24th, 1902. Indictment against Robert H. Phillips, jailor, for negligence in allowing George W. Ashby and two other prisoners who had been sentenced to the penitentiary to escape from jail November 29, 1902. Indictment against J. D, McCune for operating slot machines in Charles Town. J. P. Watkins, misdemeanor; indicted for selling intoxieating liquor to habitual drunkard. Plead guilty and fined $20 and costs. The case against J. C. Lambert for same offense as above was dismissed. Central Nat. Bank of Frederick, Md., vs. C. R. Moler et al report of special receivers confirmed. H. B. Davenport's admr. vs. Martha C. Davenport and others; report of special commissioners confirmed. J. H. Miller & Son vs. J. F. Lancaster's admr. ; cause dismissed. Joseph Entler's admr. vs. Ellen Little and others; report of commissioners filed Evans Shaffer Grocery Co. vs. W.F. Thomas; cause retired from docket. Bettie T. Gibson vs. John T. Gibson, defendant demurred to plaintiff's bill. Jefferson Page and Sarah Page, agents for Basil Clinton vs. Western Union Telegraph Co. suit dismissed, and defendants have until April Ist to remove wire from land. Alvernon C. Cross vs. Western Union Telegraph Co.; appeal from Justice; suit dismissed and defendants have until April ist to remove wires from land. J. W. Johnson vs, J. W. Grantham admr,; case dismissed. G. W. Graham vs. Catherine Gody ; appeal from Justice case dismissed at cost of defendant. Mary L. Wysong vs. J. G. Hurst and others ; plaintiff to recover of Hurst and Moore $617 with interest, First National bank of Jefferson vs. R. M, Moore and others: plaintiff to recover from defendants $355.26 with interest.
