Dunn Brothers, Formerly of Barnesville, Fugitives From Mississippi. COME OF PROMINENT FAMILY Wife of One in Custody Accused of Receiving Deposits After Bank's Insolvency. STARKVILLE, MISS., Jan. 31.The Merchants and Farmers Bank of Mathiston, the Bank of Weir and the Heidelberg Bank have suspended operations, and the president of two of the banks, together with the cashlers of those institutions, are wanted by the authorities. J. E. Dunn was president and his brother, C. Dunn, cashier of the Bank of Mathiston, and another brother, C. M. Dunn, was cashier of the Weir Bank. J. E. Dunn was also president of the Heidelberg Bank. The Sheriff of Choctaw County, in which the Weir bank is located, has warrants for the arrest of the two Dunns, and Mrs. Dunn, wife of C. M.

BANK CLOSED, GEORGIA MEN ARE MISSING Dunn Brothers, Formerly of Barnesville, Fugitives From Mississippi. STARKVILLE, MISS., Jan. 31.The Merchants and Farmers Bank of Mathiston, the Bank of Weir and the Heidelberg Bank have suspended operations, and the president of two of the banks, together with the cashlers of those institutions, are wanted by the authorities. J. E. Dunn was president and his brother, C. Dunn, cashier of the Bank of Mathiston, and another brother. C. M. Dunn, was cashier of the Weir Bank. J. E. Dunn was also president of the Heidelberg Bank. The Sheriff of Choctaw County, in which the Weir bank is located, has warrants for the arrest of the two Dunns, and Mrs. Dunn, wife of C. M. Dunn, is being guarded at her residence, having been arrested for receiving money after the insolvency of the bank. She took charge after her husband left, being instructed to do so by him. It is the general impression that she is innocent. Yesterday her home was attached. No trace of the fugitives thus far has been found. In the Weir Bank $8,000 was on time deposit with other money, and it is gone. Upward of $40,000, the funds of the three banks, is missing. The Dunns, it is stated, are from near Barnesville, Ga., and are prominent there. W. W. Magruder, of this city, is attorney for the Mathiston and Weir Banks, and M. A. Saunders, also of this city, is in charge of the receivership.
