KANSAS BANK CLOSES

Run on Harveyville Institution Causes State to Act. ville State bank was closed this morning and William Kennedy. deputy bank commissioner. was placed in charge. Bank Commissioner Bone does not know what the shortage will be. A run on the bank yesterday caused the banking department to act. The bank is capitalized for $25,000. It is under the state guaranty law. Harveyville is in Wabaunsee county. thirty-five miles southwest of Topeka.

OK., 14.-Should Governor Trapp today remit the $10.000 fine imposed Fred Dennis, former state bank commissioner, when he pleaded guilty a year ago to a charge of conspiracy. he probably will be rearrested as he leaves the prison. W. S. Keys, warden. today said that he intended to hold Dennis for Coal county authorities, who have a warrant for him.
