# BOSTON BANKS. given notice that it will continue to pay specie for its liabilities. The Farmers' Bank of Maryland at Annapolis has suspended specie payments-to resume them when the Banks in Baltimore do so. The Frederick county (Md.) Banks have suspended specie payments. So, also, have the Chambersburg, Harrisburg, York and Carlisle Banks. BOSTON BANKS. - On Friday evening last, on the receipt of the news of the suspension of the New York Banke, a meeting was held in Boston at which upwards of forty Banks ot that city, Salem, Charlestown, Cambridge, Roxbury, Lowell and Concord, were reprocanted. It was unanimously resolved to suspend specie payments. All the Boston Banks except three were represented. All the New Jersey Banks have suspended. The Legislature is to convene on the 22d instant.
