An Altoons Bank Closed. The Mechanics' Savings bank, of AltoonP, closed its doors Tuesday morning. The immediate cause of the suspension was the withdrawl of an account of the Pennsylvania railroad company, amounting to $54,000. The owner of the bank is Max Kinkead, who refuses to make any state. ment as to the assets or liabilities of the institution. There was a good deal of exeitement among the creditors of the bank, many of whom are workingmen, but every. thing is now quiet. The other banks have the confidence of the business men, and this incident will have very little effect upon the genera' business of the city.
