A FARM UNION BANK FAILS. Princeton Institution Finds Cost of Operation Too High. Princeton, Mo.โ€”J. B. Norris, state bank examiner, closed the Union Bank here Saturday. The bank's capital was $10,000, deposits $48,000. The Union Bank was owned and operated by the members of the Farmers' Union which owns and operates several stores and has a large membership in this county. G. W. Miller, cashier, said the only reason for closing the bank was the great cost of operation. He said no depositor would lose anything by the action of the state banking department.
