HATFIELD BANK SUSPENDS Institution Quits Business Voluntarily and Will Pay in Full Bethany. Mo., Oct. 20. (Special)The Bank of Hatfield, located 26 miles north of here, is voluntarily quitting business. it was learned here today. Officials declare the bank has not been making money. Depositors will be paid in full and Hquidating has already begun. It is said the bank's April statement was capital $20,000, deposits $44,000. loans $47,000. cash in sight exchange $8,000. The officials are Blaine Powell, president; E. L. Donelson, vice president and Charles Adair, cashier. This leaves 11 banks out of an original 18 in Harrison county.
