PEOPLES STATE BANK AT BRONAUGH VOLUNTARILY CEASED BUSINESS WEDNESDAY The Peoples State Bank at naugh was voluntarily closed Wednesday morning the officers of the bank, following slow run on the bank which developed pectedly. The president of the bank McReynolds and Jerry Wil. hite the cashier. understood the officers of the bank concluded the best course to pursue under the conditions prevailing simply business and allow the state finance department to take over the bank's affairs. The opinion expressed here that the bank was not in bad condition, though possibly holding some slow paper. telephone message to the Mail and Post by the Bronaugh Journal, says the last statement of the People's State Bank showed deposits of loans on collateral, $66,076.68; real estate, $9,032.75; capital stock, $15,000, and surplus, $5,000. There excitement in Bronaugh over the closing of the bank and there was no hint of anything irregular connection with the bank's affairs.

Peoples Bank at Bronaugh Closed The Peoples State Bank in this city failed to open for business Thursday. A heavy run of depositors made this action necessary.
