The radio would furnish enter tainment and pleasure for many years and contribute much to their enjoyment of life. Mr Shopper's father was interested in public affairs and the radio would bring him all the news events and outstanding speech es of the day. Mr Shopper's mother liked to listen to old familiar hymns and melodies. These would come to her in their most attractiv form through the radio. So Mr. and Mrs. Shopper went the radio store they had selected as the best source for their selection and met the rest of the family. The dealer showed them several models. Many in handsome carved cabinets that would be a most attractive addition to the home. They were told the merits of the various models; heard some music-which appropriately enough, was a broadcast of Christmas carols Then decided on a handsome radio in a black walnut cabinet of fine de sign. The dealer promised to deliver it Christmas eve while the old people were out-then Christmas day when all the family joined them their home, they could enjoy the Christmas melodies together
